*La Follette HS has schedule variances. Check with the La Follette school office for specific dates.

**Children start Kindergarten when they reach the age of 5. They must be 5 on or before September 1st.

September 3, 2008	Elementary Only - Early Release for Elementary Only @ 1:00 or 1:45 p.m. All Middle & High School students attend

February 6, 2009	Middle Schools have a regular day of school on Friday, February 6 to make up instructional time missed due to days schools had to be closed. If parents wish to make other parent-teacher conference arrangements, they should contact the school.
February 27, 2009	All Schools have a regular day of school on Friday, February 27 to make up instructional time missed due to days schools had to be closed.
March 2, 2009	District-wide Kindergarten registration day for 2009-2010** school year, 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
March 16, 2009	All Schools have a regular day of school on Monday, March 16 to make up instructional time missed due to days schools had to be closed.
March 27, 2009	End of 3rd Quarter (44 days) Elementary Schools have a regular day of school on Friday, March 27 to make up instructional time missed due to days schools had to be closed.
March 30, 2009	Beginning of 4th Quarter
April 6-13, 2009	Schools closed for Spring Break
April 14, 2009	Schools reopen
May 25, 2009	Schools closed for observance of Memorial Day
June 12, 2009	Last day of school Elementary Schools have a regular day of school on Friday, June 12 to make up instructional time missed due to days schools had to be closed. Wright Middle School dismissal at 11:25 a.m. La Follette High School dismissal at 9:59 a.m. End of 4th Quarter (48 days) & 2nd Semester (92 days)
